Field to Needles: The Purple Edition

We have really taken good advantage of our local Farmer's Market this season.

I think I've mentioned before about our ritual of going to breakfast and then across the street to the local Market on Saturdays. Every week more vendors show up with their harvests and wares; tomatoes are slowly appearing on the stands and the corn is amazingly sweet!

These purple potatoes are gorgeous and remind me of something...

Mmm just had some of these the other night from our CSA share, smashed with roasted garlic. So yummy and colorful!
